Tick the “ redirect request to…” box, and enter /cognos8/controllerbin/ccr.exe. Highlight the new virtual directory (controller) and then click “ HTTP Redirect”.C:\Program Files\Cognos\ControllerVdir)) and click OK Browse to the same path as above (e.g.Enter controller in the Alias edit field.Right click the cognos8 virtual directory and choose ‘ Add Virtual Directory’.Using Windows Explorer, create a brand new blank folder (for example C:\Program Files\Cognos\ ControllerVdir) (TIP: This has to be a new blank folder to avoid web.config problems later).The steps will be slightly different for other versions of Controller/Windows IIS.
